UV Filters

UV pond filters or uv clarifiers, as they are also called, play an integral role in keeping pond water clear. UV filters are one of the best defenses against floating algae (the kind that turns your water green) and harmful bacteria.  UV filters are placed in the filter system between the pond pump and the filter and as the water passes under the UV light the bacteria and algae are killed and then filtered out in the pond filter before the clean water is returned to the pond.
