BioMate Filter Media - Foam Filled

BioMate Foam Filled Media Balls utilize innovative media-in-media design to do the job of two filter media. Perfect when space is limited. Outer shell provides site for beneficial bacteria, and internal media provide additional mechanical, chemical, or biological filtration. These balls are filled with foam, providing additional mechanical filtration by pulling out debris particles as water passes through the balls.

Foam can be removed to be replaced or cleaned.

To replace foam filter media, simply pop open Biomate ball and re-fill with fresh or clean foam.
