BioMate Filter Media - Ceramic Filled

BioMate Ceramic Filled Media Balls utilize innovative media-in-media design to do the job of two filter media. Perfect when space is limited. Outer shell provides site for beneficial bacteria, and internal media provide additional mechanical, chemical, or biological filtration. These balls are filled with ceramic pellets, providing additional surface area for increased cultivation of beneficial bacteria for improved biological filtration.

Ceramic pellets can be removed to be replaced or cleaned.

To replace ceramic filter media, simply pop open Biomate ball and re-fill with fresh or clean ceramic pellets.
